The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Schepers got free with Foeke Wisgerhof in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roger Bueno in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Foeke Wisgerhof, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Overschie's Niek Kiewit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Lore in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Anton Schepers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Overschie's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Schepers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Foeke Wisgerhof breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niek Kiewit had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Jochem Rijkaard's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Overschie's goal looked a bit too open when Jochem Rijkaard came free, but Niek Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niek Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After taking down the ball on Dukaton f.c.'s corner Pastor Servando fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Niek Kiewit quite easily take care of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Foeke Wisgerhof had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Bueno. If Jorn Krommert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Foeke Wisgerhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorn Krommert in the 31st minute of the match. When Jorn Krommert came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Overschie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorn Krommert couldn't finish the play. Niek Kiewit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochem Rijkaard in the 44th minute of play. Justo Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 49 minutes into the match, Dukaton f.c.'s Jochem Rijkaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niek Kiewit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Jochem Rijkaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 played minutes Dukaton f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Steve Hilhorst. Foeke Wisgerhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorn Krommert in the 56th minute of the match. Jochem Rijkaard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Niek Kiewit skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorn Krommert during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorn Krommert hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With his leg Niek Kiewit managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Dukaton f.c.'s Jochem Rijkaard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jochem Rijkaards short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Niek Kiewit to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Overschie's Jan Rein Hindriks got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Jochem Rijkaard took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Niek Kiewit to make any attempt to save it. Justo Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niek Kiewit having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Overschie got a freekick which was hit by Ruud Koning. Niek Kiewit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Lore in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Overschie's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Lore came free, but Niek Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Anton Schepers charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Schepers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dukaton f.c. booed when Overschie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Schepers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Overschie's Niek Kiewit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Lore in the 91st minute of play. Justo Lore took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niek Kiewit. Niek Kiewit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 94th minute Roger Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Foeke Wisgerhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dukaton f.c. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Egbert Matthijs hit a great ball. Roger Bueno struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Foeke Wisgerhof didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Overschie. The Overschie supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dukaton f.c.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Dukaton f.c..
