FCF north's Tjeerd Zwaanswijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Lindelöf in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCF north's goalkeeper Tjeerd Zwaanswijk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Veerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Veerman in the 16th minute of play forced FCF north's goalkeeper Tjeerd Zwaanswijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Veerman in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tjeerd Zwaanswijk saved FCF north from getting behind. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Veerman in the 22nd minute of the match. SV Balverliefd's attentive Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel managed to snatch the ball when Anísio Lucas made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Henk Veerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Henk Veerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjeerd Zwaanswijk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henk Veerman went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thijs Nelissen in the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thijs Nelissen to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Balverliefd's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roderick van Boxel in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of SV Balverliefd booed when FCF north was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thijs Nelissen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Veerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jyrki Kujanpää sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Steven Homan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the SV Balverliefd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Homan couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's Melker Gudmundsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tjeerd Zwaanswijk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Steven Homan sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FCF north's zone, Steven Homan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk came out of the goal and Steven Homan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SV Balverliefd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
