Dan Kjellman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan de Boer having to interfere. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when Sons of Strategy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Bos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wilco Heida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
