Landgraaf 07's Taco Timmermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick Heesen in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Landgraaf 07's Lukas Kvarnström got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Landgraaf 07's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Cordarius came free, but Taco Timmermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten Wijnands in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Heesen in the 10th minute of play forced Landgraaf 07's goalkeeper Taco Timmermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taco Timmermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Heesen in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Georg Hagberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Redan. In the 14th minute Nick Heesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Timmermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taco Timmermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joep Ponk in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Nick Heesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Timmermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Roberto Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Nick Heesen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Taco Timmermans having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Heesen in the 21st minute of play forced Landgraaf 07's goalkeeper Taco Timmermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taco Timmermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Heesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Nick Heesen took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taco Timmermans. Taco Timmermans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zé Roberto Torres hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Nick Heesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Taco Timmermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Hagberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurențiu Ciocan in the 38th minute. Taco Timmermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ditlev Delmont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
After a rather tough play, Landgraaf 07's Zé Roberto Torres got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A hard shot by Ladislao Cordarius from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Taco Timmermans's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nick Heesen in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taco Timmermans saved Landgraaf 07 from getting behind. Paúl Laime hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ágætis Byrjun made a substitution. Ernst Melis replaced Vitaliy Vorobey. In the 68th minute, Paúl Laime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karsten Wijnands scored 1-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Hagberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Georg Hagberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 minutes Ágætis Byrjun's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Roberto Torres who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Landgraaf 07's Zé Roberto Torres to fire away a dangerous shot which Georg Hagberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Taco Timmermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ditlev Delmont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Heesen got free with Taco Timmermans in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Landgraaf 07's goal looked a bit too open when Joep Ponk came free, but Taco Timmermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Landgraaf 07's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ladislao Cordarius was slow to take the kick. During this time Ágætis Byrjun's players had a chance to rest. In the 82nd minute, Fabian Buckinx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taco Timmermans made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Nick Heesen sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Bartumeu in the 86th minute of play forced Landgraaf 07's goalkeeper Taco Timmermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Buckinx charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Buckinx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ágætis Byrjun booed when Landgraaf 07 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Buckinx didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hendrik-Jan Kuijpers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Landgraaf 07's Taco Timmermans got control of the ball when Gregorio Urtsin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolo Bartumeu in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taco Timmermans prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
