Everardo Pasqual came out and tried to block the shot, but Malcolm Farrugia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Norrlands Guld's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Farrugia came free, but Everardo Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Pasqual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfred Michaely, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Everardo Pasqual didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Farrugia went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Mark Fenech Adami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sigfred Michaely succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Farrugia in the 22nd minute of play forced Norrlands Guld's goalkeeper Everardo Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ethan Musu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th play minute Ryan De Marco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Everardo Pasqual. 4-0. 34 minutes into the match, Norrlands Guld's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Farrugia came free, but Everardo Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ryan De Marco came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Highbury Boys 1896 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan De Marco couldn't finish the play. Ryan De Marco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 45th playminute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mark Fenech Adami made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Malcolm Farrugia made a precise shot to the right of Everardo Pasqual. Norrlands Guld's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 56 played minutes Norrlands Guld got a freekick which was hit by Ethan Musu. When Ryan De Marco came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Highbury Boys 1896 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan De Marco couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ethan Musu during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ethan Musu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Malcolm Farrugia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Highbury Boys 1896 were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Norrlands Guld's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Malcolm Farrugia took the corner. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Norrlands Guld's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Malcolm Farrugia was slow to take the kick. During this time Highbury Boys 1896's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Highbury Boys 1896's Malcolm Farrugia to fire away a dangerous shot which Everardo Pasqual despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 66th minute, Aidan Dingli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Pasqual was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Everardo Pasqual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Farrugia, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Norrlands Guld booed when Highbury Boys 1896 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan De Marco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everardo Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan De Marco in the 75th minute of play. Richard Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Fenech Adami in the 77th minute. Richard Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Fenech Adami in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Malcolm Farrugia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Pasqual. Norrlands Guld's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Malcolm Farrugia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Ryan De Marco took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Pasqual. Everardo Pasqual dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Highbury Boys 1896's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
