Anthony Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clifton Romano having to interfere. Mark Gottschalk charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Gottschalk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mark Gottschalk hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Clifton Romano made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Michele Markham sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Hamilton in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clifton Romano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute of the match, Anthony Hamilton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clifton Romano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ġorġ Peel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Clayton Gulia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Ġorġ Peel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clayton Gulia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Apap, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Anthony Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Armier Youngsters's goalkeeper Clifton Romano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clifton Romano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michele Markham's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Grima in the 83rd minute of play forced Armier Youngsters's goalkeeper Clifton Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clifton Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Grima in the 91st minute of play. If Leonard Grima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Diamond Eyes had played much better football throughout.
