André Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darren Carabott in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Eleven Young Elephants's Vilmos Szikora got a free kick in the 9th minute. André Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vents Ovdaks, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Vents Ovdaks hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Eleven Young Elephants's zone, Stanislaw Koczara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Tanti came out of the goal and Stanislaw Koczara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislaw Koczara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Eleven Young Elephants's zone, Stanislaw Koczara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Tanti came out of the goal and Stanislaw Koczara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Templars FC's Stanislaw Koczara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Tanti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aaron Tanti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Jonathan Sammut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Tanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eleven Young Elephants's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adelino Marques was slow to take the kick. During this time Templars FC's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Sten Svanström to score against Aaron Tanti in Eleven Young Elephants's goal. 0-1 after 34 minutes. Stanislaw Koczara struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Aaron Tanti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Templars FC. In the 44th minute, Sten Svanström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koray Baycan to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Stanislaw Koczara took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Aaron Tanti to make any attempt to save it. In the 55th minute, Stanislaw Koczara made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Tanti. Eleven Young Elephants's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.
