If Jakov Sokolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakov Sokolov in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Željko Boškovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Željko Boškovski managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Филип II Македонски's Orce Sarev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Dren FK's zone, Orce Sarev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Željko Boškovski came out of the goal and Orce Sarev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 minutes, Milan Dončevski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dren FK and the Филип II Македонски players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Dren FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan Dončevski to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakov Sokolov to strike the kick off in the second half. Jakov Sokolov's late challenge caught a Dren FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 88 played minutes, Филип II Македонски's Branslav Sekulovski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Željko Boškovski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Филип II Македонски reached it. Orce Sarev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Филип II Македонски's Orce Sarev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Željko Boškovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Филип II Македонски were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dren FK for a fine match.
