ФК Партизан Македонија's Vladimir Gegovski got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slavoljub Boja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ФК Партизан Македонија's Tomasz Kuszczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naum Najdenoski in the 36th minute of play. Tomasz Kuszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blagoj Nestorov in the 37th minute of the match. Rajko Sarev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zvonko Ivkovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slavoljub Boja having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir Gegovski made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Vladimir Gegovski made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Furka Sloga's Slavoljub Boja tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomasz Kuszczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rajko Sarev got free with Tomasz Kuszczak in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Slavoljub Boja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Gegovski's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute, Lazar Ramadani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Gegovski in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slavoljub Boja saved Furka Sloga from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, ФК Партизан Македонија's goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rajko Sarev. Zvonko Ivkovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slavoljub Boja having to interfere. Vladimir Gegovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
