The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Littlehampton ⚽️'s zone, Gareth Hewitt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alwin Jacoby came out of the goal and Gareth Hewitt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Isaac Fleetham fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wombwell City's protests and gave Isaac Fleetham a yellow card for diving instead. Isaac Fleetham hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralph Meyer in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stan Dixon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Ralph Meyer put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stan Dixon. Alwin Jacoby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gareth Hewitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ralph Meyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Dixon having to interfere. Marcus Grethen struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Stan Dixon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Littlehampton ⚽️. The supporters of Wombwell City booed when Littlehampton ⚽️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Grethen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Kurt Fordham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Littlehampton ⚽️'s Marcus Grethen got a free kick in the 44th minute. Lucas Hitchcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alwin Jacoby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Gareth Hewitt made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Wombwell City's goalkeeper Stan Dixon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudy Thimmesch. Littlehampton ⚽️'s Alwin Jacoby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Hitchcock in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Gareth Hewitt notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Littlehampton ⚽️'s Alwin Jacoby. Alwin Jacoby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ralph Meyer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Stan Dixon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 59th minute, Ralph Meyer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ralph Meyer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Stan Dixon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ralph Meyers short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Stan Dixon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcus Grethen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Stan Dixon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Ralph Meyer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Littlehampton ⚽️ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 70 played minutes Littlehampton ⚽️ got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Chevalier. After 71 played minutes, Wombwell City's Shane Robins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alwin Jacoby came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wombwell City reached it. After 72 played minutes Wombwell City got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Evans. Jamal Evans kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Lucas Hitchcock's late challenge caught a Littlehampton ⚽️'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Hitchcock helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle sounded Littlehampton ⚽️ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wombwell City.
