Spectators: 8591 (Terracing: 6444, Seating: 1976, VIP seats: 171) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Philip Hartmann started the match with the kick off. Klaus Sax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Günther, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Ralph Bärwald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Ebley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Hartmann came free, but Philip Amann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, Rudy Breitbarth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ebley AFC and the Ilkeston players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ilkeston's Klaus Sax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giles Reuter in the 20th minute of play. Philip Amann was a little too slow when Philip Hartmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Ebley AFC's Philip Amann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Hartmann in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Ebley AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rex Borchard to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ebley AFC's Philip Amann got control of the ball when Ralph Bärwald tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ralph Bärwald came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ilkeston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Bärwald couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Fredrik Günther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Klaus Sax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bodo Olabanjo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Philip Hartmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Amann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Hartmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Ralph Bärwald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Philip Amann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Amann came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ilkeston's Philip Hartmann. But to his dismay, Philip Hartmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ralph Bärwald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Amann having to interfere. When Ilkeston's Philip Hartmann in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ebley AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Philip Hartmann sped through Ebley AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philip Amann. Philip Amann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Hartmann in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Philip Hartmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Amann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ebley AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Adam Behm hit a great ball. Milo Gerhardt, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Philip Hartmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Amann was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Philip Amann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Bärwald in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Ruben Beicht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giles Reuter struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Klaus Sax didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ebley AFC. In the 92nd play minute Fredrik Günther came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Klaus Sax. 3-1.
