Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Patrick Roth got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Patrick Roth notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Astley's Edmund Kaiser. Edmund Kaiser was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmund Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Haugwitz in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Astley's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Roth came free, but Edmund Kaiser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Kaiser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Bourbon in the 15th minute of play. Teddy Habermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Lavigne in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Thetford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Lavigne came free, but Teddy Habermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucien Bausch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29th play minutes Lucien Bausch shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Teddy Habermann and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Franzmann in the 32nd minute of play forced Astley's goalkeeper Edmund Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Lavigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teddy Habermann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucien Bausch in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucien Bausch made a kick off. Oskar Bourbon kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Lavigne in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teddy Habermann saved Thetford AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Thetford AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Oskar Bourbon hit a great ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Walter Lavigne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Lavigne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Lavigne in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teddy Habermann saved Thetford AFC from getting behind. 58 minutes into the game, Oskar Bourbon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thetford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astley the free kick. In the 58th minute, Oskar Bourbon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes, Alfred Hannawald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astley and the Thetford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Thetford AFC booed when Astley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Hannawald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teddy Habermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien Bausch in the 64th minute of the match. When Walter Lavigne came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Astley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Lavigne couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Thetford AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Oskar Bourbon hit a great ball. Thetford AFC's Teddy Habermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Lavigne in the 74th minute of play. Claude Haugwitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Edmund Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teddy Habermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucien Bausch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astley's Edmund Kaiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Bourbon in the 81st minute of play. After 84 minutes, Giles Kilburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astley and the Thetford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Astley's Giles Kilburg got a free kick in the 84th minute. Teddy Habermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Lavigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Oskar Bourbon was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Thetford AFC's Oskar Bourbon got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Lucien Bausch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teddy Habermann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
