DKMW Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sheepy Giants the free kick. In the 14th match minute, DKMW Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Fabeck to maneuver through the defense. Henry Hummel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lutz Bäumler's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dietrich Redoute got free with Henry Hummel in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match, Lutz Bäumler tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henry Hummel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dietrich Redoute recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Lutz Bäumler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheepy Giants's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lutz Bäumler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Dietrich Redoute put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Henry Hummel. Dietrich Redoute had several of the DKMW Team's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 49 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Henry Hummel as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dietrich Redoute stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Dietrich Redoute in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Pol Backhaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bodo Dubois in the 64th minute of the match. Henry Hummel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lutz Bäumler in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes in the game, Bodo Dubois fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pol Backhaus having to interfere. Karlheinz Günzburg took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pol Backhaus. The audience was convinced that Dietrich Redoute's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Hummel was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Henry Hummel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dietrich Redoute took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Hummel. Henry Hummel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Henry Hummel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lutz Bäumler, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Sheepy Giants walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
