Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edward Klingelmann started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Braun in the 5th minute of play forced Beşiktaş JK's goalkeeper Armin Babineaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Altschuler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Babineaux having to interfere. Royal Lëtzebuerg's Mark Braun got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Braun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Armin Babineaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mark Braun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Royal Lëtzebuerg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Juncker to maneuver through the defense. Beşiktaş JK's Franck Krier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Royal Lëtzebuerg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ollie Descoteaux in the 29th minute of play forced Royal Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper Donald Rosenkranz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Klingelmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Donald Rosenkranz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Juncker charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Juncker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Royal Lëtzebuerg got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Juncker. If Edward Klingelmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Braun was the one to do the kick off. Edward Klingelmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Rosenkranz having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Royal Lëtzebuerg's Emil Altschuler made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armin Babineaux was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Altschuler in the 69th minute of play forced Beşiktaş JK's goalkeeper Armin Babineaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Braun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ollie Descoteaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Donald Rosenkranz made a huge save. Donald Rosenkranz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giles Schmit went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Emil Altschuler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armin Babineaux came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Lëtzebuerg's Emil Altschuler. But to his dismay, Emil Altschuler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Mattias Schlim's late challenge caught a Beşiktaş JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Schlim helped the player get up and apologised. It was beautiful to see Beşiktaş JK's Karlheinz Diederich in action when he in the 94th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Beşiktaş JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
