The Dsval F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Black Devils were winning 0-1.

53 minutes into the game, Angelo Sorrentino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dsval F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Black Devils getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Angelo Sorrentino hit a great ball. With a little luck, Dsval F.C.'s Ercole Landolfi got control of the ball when Angelo Sorrentino tried to sneak it across the goal line.
