The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Pantano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ferdinando Passerini fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerasolo Auro FC's protests and gave Ferdinando Passerini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cerasolo Auro FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ferdinando Passerini hit a great ball. Dennis Di Nardo, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bianco Goffredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alfredo Pantano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Di Giovanni in the 20th minute of play forced Modena FC's goalkeeper Alessio Di Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessio Di Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Di Giovanni in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Goffredo in the 29th minute of play forced Cerasolo Auro FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Pantano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrico Niccolai during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edoardo Sergi in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The Cerasolo Auro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Modena FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cerasolo Auro FC were winning 0-3.

Edoardo Sergi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Modena FC's Bianco Goffredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Pantano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Enrico Niccolai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Pantano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Banana during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cerasolo Auro FC's Alfredo Pantano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Sergi in the 86th minute of play. Edoardo Sergi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Pantano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Sergi in the 91st minute of play forced Cerasolo Auro FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Pantano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerasolo Auro FC's Anfilogino Vierchowod got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinando Passerini kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Edoardo Sergi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Pantano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Cerasolo Auro FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
