Vinco AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mosezzo the free kick. Filippo Caruso succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Aldo Navarra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Biagio Paglione. That made the score 3-0 in the 14 minute of play. Vinco AFC's Antonello Ferrario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Apicella in the 18th minute of play. Biagio Paglione acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cesare Sacchetti. Biagio Paglione took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Navarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Donato Tarquini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aldo Navarra came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Vinco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Navarra couldn't finish the play. After 38 played minutes Aldo Navarra rounded Mosezzo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. After having played for 43 minutes, Filippo Caruso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Caruso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adriano Persichetti was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Mosezzo booed when Vinco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Persichetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francesco Apicella made a kick off. Vinco AFC's Filippo Caruso got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Filippo Caruso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Biagio Paglione was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Ernesto Ricciuti charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Ricciuti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mosezzo's Ernesto Ricciuti got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Antonello Ferrario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francesco Apicella's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Mosezzo's Fabrizio Trinca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonello Ferrario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 83 minutes into the match, Filippo Caruso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Biagio Paglione. Mosezzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filippo Caruso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Antonello Ferrario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrizio Trinca in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Filippo Caruso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Caruso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Biagio Paglione breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fabrizio Trinca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Vinco AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
