Spectators: 7392 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugenio Caracciolo started the match with the kick off. Anthony Treglia hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Domino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo De Nicola came free, but Alfredo Ascenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camillo De Nicola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alfredo Ascenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Prosperi in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Ascenzi saved Domino AFC from getting behind. Flavio Prosperi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Sciotto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Valcareggi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Flavio Prosperi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Domino AFC's Alfredo Ascenzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Domino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Cauli came free, but Alfredo Ascenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eugenio Caracciolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Domino AFC's Eugenio Caracciolo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudio Valcareggi. Claudio Valcareggi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Alfredo Ascenzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo De Nicola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pozzo's Flavio Prosperi in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Domino AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Domino AFC defense, Camillo De Nicola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Ascenzi. The Domino AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Ascenzi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Prosperi in the 43rd minute of play forced Domino AFC's goalkeeper Alfredo Ascenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a defensive mix-up in Domino AFC's zone, Camillo De Nicola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Ascenzi came out of the goal and Camillo De Nicola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Ascenzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Prosperi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st match minute, Pozzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Treglia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pozzo's zone, Eugenio Sciotto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Valcareggi came out of the goal and Eugenio Sciotto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Sciotto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Claudio Valcareggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Cauli's late challenge caught a Domino AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Cauli helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 95 in the game by Camillo De Nicola from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Ascenzi managed to make a qualified save. Domino AFC's players were relieved. Camillo De Nicola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domino AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pozzo for a fine match.
