Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ettore Nicolai got the match started through his kick off. Fabiano Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Mandelli in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match, Carter Di Gregorio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfonso Baresi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 9th minute, Borgo Santa Maria AFC's Ettore Nicolai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfonso Baresi. Alfonso Baresi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fabiano Gallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabiano Mandelli's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Cosimo Carafa hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Christian Cicchinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borsano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Ettore Nicolai scored to the left of an out of position Alfonso Baresi, making the score, 2-0. Fabiano Gallo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Borsano's Fabiano Mandelli. But to his dismay, Fabiano Mandelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Frank Tabacchi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Cicchinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fabiano Gallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Fabiano Mandelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borsano's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Mandelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Gallo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Borgo Santa Maria AFC's zone, Eraldo Tomei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Gallo came out of the goal and Eraldo Tomei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fabiano Mandelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Davide Domenghini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabiano Mandelli scored 2-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabiano Gallo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabiano Gallo made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Fabiano Mandelli sent off a good shot on target. Christian Cicchinelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabiano Gallo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Borsano's Fabiano Mandelli. But to his dismay, Fabiano Mandelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Dario De Lellis made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cosimo Carafa. Ettore Nicolai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eraldo Tomei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borgo Santa Maria AFC's Fabiano Gallo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Borgo Santa Maria AFC from getting a goal against them. If Eraldo Tomei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Borgo Santa Maria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Mandelli came free, but Fabiano Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Mandelli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Fabiano Gallo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 85th minute, Domenico Polimeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Tabacchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Tabacchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Gallo having to interfere. Fabiano Mandelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fabiano Gallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabiano Gallo made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fabiano Mandelli sent off a good shot on target. Borsano played a much better game than Borgo Santa Maria AFC and deserved their victory. The Borgo Santa Maria AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
