The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Allegretti in the 52nd minute of play forced FerriSaddam Fc's goalkeeper Claudio Gambini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bruno Marini came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Gabicce Mare AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Marini couldn't finish the play. Bruno Marini hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Cesare Di Martino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The FerriSaddam Fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FerriSaddam Fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
