After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Angelo Rotondi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roccacellacchiona Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Rotondi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Bevilacqua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Bevilacqua made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Angelo Rotondi sent off a good shot on target. Solbiate Olona's Bernardo Bevilacqua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Solbiate Olona from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Felice Leggeri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Solbiate Olona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 33 played minutes Roccacellacchiona Fc got a freekick which was hit by Alex De Donatis. Fulvio De Lucia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Felice Leggeri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roccacellacchiona Fc's Ercole Giacomozzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Felice Leggeri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercole Giacomozzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, Solbiate Olona's Antonello Farina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ercole Giacomozzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Augusto Ruzzi came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Roccacellacchiona Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Ruzzi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Solbiate Olona's zone, Augusto Ruzzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Bevilacqua came out of the goal and Augusto Ruzzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Ruzzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amos Sasso hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Solbiate Olona's Antonello Farina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ercole Giacomozzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Roccacellacchiona Fc's goalkeeper Ercole Giacomozzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ettore Giusto. Angelo Rotondi took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Bevilacqua. Bernardo Bevilacqua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Camillo Palmieri charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camillo Palmieri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardo Bevilacqua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Ruzzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ercole Giacomozzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Leggeri in the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 minutes Roccacellacchiona Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fulvio De Lucia who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Evangelista during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Solbiate Olona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Evangelista to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Ettore Berardini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roccacellacchiona Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solbiate Olona the free kick. Ettore Berardini hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Bernardo Bevilacqua came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Roccacellacchiona Fc's Augusto Ruzzi. But to his dismay, Augusto Ruzzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, Roccacellacchiona Fc's Ercole Giacomozzi got control of the ball when Felice Leggeri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Antonello Farina could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Ercole Giacomozzi however easily saved by the left post. 88 minutes into the match, Roccacellacchiona Fc's goalkeeper Ercole Giacomozzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonello Farina. Fulvio De Lucia made a great header on Solbiate Olona's corner, it was just that Roccacellacchiona Fc's Ercole Giacomozzi managed to reach the ball for a save. Ercole Giacomozzi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Camillo Monaco. With a little luck, Roccacellacchiona Fc's Ercole Giacomozzi got control of the ball when Felice Leggeri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonello Farina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
