Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cosimo Cremonese started the match with the kick off. Cosimo Cremonese's late challenge caught a Roncopascolo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosimo Cremonese helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes San Silvestro got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Cremonese. In the 7th minute, Dennis Combi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roncopascolo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in San Silvestro's zone, Dennis Combi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Parente came out of the goal and Dennis Combi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Combi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Flavio Parente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roncopascolo FC. After having played for 15 minutes, Ernesto Carnevale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roncopascolo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Carnevale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Amedeo Giordani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21stth minute of the game Dennis Combi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Silvestro's Flavio Parente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Antonio Fabri fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roncopascolo FC's protests and gave Antonio Fabri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Roncopascolo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Fabri to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Amedeo Giordani managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Silvestro's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Giordani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Nardone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Roncopascolo FC's Ernesto Carnevale in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Flavio Parente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Carnevale, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Cosimo Cremonese received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carmine Nardone came out and tried to block the shot, but Cosimo Cremonese slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute. Amedeo Giordani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, San Silvestro's Cesare Proia got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Carnevale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Combi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Combi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Flavio Parente made a huge save. After 61 minutes, Cesare Proia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Silvestro and the Roncopascolo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes San Silvestro got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Proia. 64 minutes into the game, San Silvestro's Amedeo Giordani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carmine Nardone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Dennis Combi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Parente having to interfere. After a rather tough play, San Silvestro's Amos Petricca got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Dennis Combi in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Parente, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 78thth minute of the game Ernesto Carnevale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Silvestro's Flavio Parente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roncopascolo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
