Spectators: 7335 (Terracing: 5503, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fedele Firmani kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Alfonso Rizzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puccentus's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Rizzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Macchia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domenico Macchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Firmani in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Carmine Mazzei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Nicolai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fedele Firmani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Fedele Firmani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domenico Macchia. Poggio Superiore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Firmani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to Poggio Superiore getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Carmine Mazzei hit a great ball. Fedele Firmani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44thth minute of the game Fedele Firmani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poggio Superiore's Domenico Macchia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Mazzini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Nicolai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Mazzei in the 51st minute of the match. Fedele Firmani did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Domenico Macchia 53 minutes into the match. If Fedele Firmani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poggio Superiore's Domenico Macchia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Tardelli in the 59th minute of play. Domenico Macchia made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Fedele Firmani sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Carmine Mazzei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Fedele Firmani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Macchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alfonso Rizzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrigo Penna kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Puccentus's Fedele Firmani got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Puccentus's Fedele Firmani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domenico Macchia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fedele Firmani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Puccentus's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
