Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florian Pellegrini took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Aldo Di Cesare got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cesare De Santis hit a great ball. Florian Pellegrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Filippo Altobelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Dave Ciaccia notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Quirico FC's Ercole Andreassi. Ercole Andreassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quirico FC's Ercole Andreassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Tosi in the 24th minute of play. Ercole Andreassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Piscopo in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Francesco Tosi managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Tosi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Andreassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Francesco Tosi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes, Francesco Tosi made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Quirico FC's Ercole Andreassi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francesco Tosi was the one to do the kick off. Quirico FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Dave Ciaccia scored to the left of an out of position Ercole Andreassi, making the score, 0-5. After 57 minutes, Alessio Quattrocchi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quirico FC and the San Lorenzo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute of the match Cristiano Del Papa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ercole Andreassi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alessio Quattrocchi was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Alessio Quattrocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Florian Pellegrini hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Tosi in the 67th minute of play forced Quirico FC's goalkeeper Ercole Andreassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Dave Ciaccia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Ercole Andreassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute Aldo Di Cesare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Altobelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francesco Tosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Ciaccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Di Cesare in the 80th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Filippo Altobelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Cesare De Santis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Tosi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. San Lorenzo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Francesco Tosi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Andreassi having to interfere. Cesare De Santis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercole Andreassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Dave Ciaccia struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ercole Andreassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. San Lorenzo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
