After having played for 24 minutes, Armin Mazzone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colonnata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armin Mazzone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Colonnata's zone, Claudio Di Marino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Cannone came out of the goal and Claudio Di Marino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armin Mazzone struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Fausto Castellini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colonnata. Fausto Castellini didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. In the 48th minute, Carter Barducci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Concetto Ottaviani to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, AC Smokinglala's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Ottaviani came free, but Fausto Castellini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Armin Mazzone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Castellini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, AC Smokinglala's Angelo Cannone threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudio Di Marino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carter Barducci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Angelo Cannone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colonnata's Armin Mazzone got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Di Liddo charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Di Liddo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frank Di Liddo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the game's 91st minute Colonnata's Antonello Lazzaro took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Fausto Castellini and thus the score was 3-0. The supporters of Colonnata booed when AC Smokinglala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Di Liddo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Colonnata had won after a very even match.
