Anfilogino Trivelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Latina Squalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Scivittaro to maneuver through the defense. When Ernesto Di Martino came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Alcamo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Di Martino couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Ernesto Di Martino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anfilogino Trivelli. Latina Squalo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Di Martino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ernesto Di Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcamo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Di Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anfilogino Trivelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the game, Eraldo Graziano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Angelo De Palma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the game, Felice Baldassarre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcamo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Latina Squalo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alcamo FC's Felice Baldassarre got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Latina Squalo's zone, Ernesto Di Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anfilogino Trivelli came out of the goal and Ernesto Di Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Domenico Brandini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anfilogino Trivelli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ernesto Di Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Latina Squalo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Donato Consalvi scored to the left of an out of position Anfilogino Trivelli, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Graziano in the 58th minute of play forced Alcamo FC's goalkeeper Angelo De Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Alcamo FC's Stasys Kabaila got a free kick in the 60th minute. Donato Consalvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Alcamo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Di Martino to maneuver through the defense. Angelo De Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Granata, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Edmondo Granata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo De Palma was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Anfilogino Trivelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Di Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Domenico Brandini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anfilogino Trivelli. Latina Squalo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Latina Squalo defense, Donato Consalvi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anfilogino Trivelli. The Latina Squalo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anfilogino Trivelli should have stopped the shot. Donato Consalvi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Anfilogino Trivelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Alcamo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
