Bernardo Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Colangelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Miranda in the 31st minute of the match. Alessio Raffa made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ettore Natale sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Chiappa AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ennio Di Iorio hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Chiappa AFC's Bernardo Mangione nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferruccio Colangelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Lazio's Ettore Natale got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arrigo Gambini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessio Raffa having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Bernardo Mangione fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ferruccio Colangelo, passed just outside the right post. Arrigo Gambini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes of play, Chiappa AFC's Bernardo Miranda made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferruccio Colangelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Bernardo Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferruccio Colangelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Bernardo Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute, Ettore Natale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lazio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 96th minute, Ettore Natale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chiappa AFC's zone, Arrigo Gambini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessio Raffa came out of the goal and Arrigo Gambini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chiappa AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
