The referee ignored Spinetta FC's protests and gave Franco Zollino a yellow card for diving instead. Franco Zollino kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Pontus Sävström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Montini having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Calcroci AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Madaio came free, but Carlo Marcon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Calcroci AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ercole Di Crescenzo hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Emanuele Madaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pontus Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Pontus Sävström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calcroci AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Sävström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Spinetta FC's Ciro Montini got control of the ball when Pontus Sävström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 played minutes Spinetta FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Madaio. A collision led to Spinetta FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Emanuele Madaio hit a great ball. Demetrio Pasquale received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciro Montini came out and tried to block the shot, but Demetrio Pasquale slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute Amedeo Leone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Marcon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amedeo Leone was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Calcroci AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Leone came free, but Carlo Marcon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spinetta FC's goalkeeper Ciro Montini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Calcroci AFC booed when Spinetta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Leone didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Spinetta FC defense, Ercole Di Crescenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Montini. The Spinetta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Montini should have stopped the shot. Spinetta FC's Ciro Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Di Crescenzo in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Spinetta FC defense, Pontus Sävström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Montini. The Spinetta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Montini should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pontus Sävström in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Montini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Calcroci AFC fully deserved thier win.
