With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Diana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Fata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Monaco having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Francesco Volponi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of A.M GreenPeace 1971's Alfredo Diana. Alfredo Diana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 36 played minutes A.M GreenPeace 1971 got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Muzzatti. After recieving a nice pass, Valle Benedetta FC's Dino Giammarino tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, A.M GreenPeace 1971's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Ragazzoni came free, but Alfredo Diana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carter Ragazzoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Diana having to interfere. When Ernesto Fata came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the A.M GreenPeace 1971 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Fata couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferruccio Di Gregorio to make the kick off. Alfredo Diana made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Carter Ragazzoni sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Fata in the 58th minute of play forced Valle Benedetta FC's goalkeeper Cesare Monaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Valle Benedetta FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Davide Egidi hit a great ball. Cristiano Nobili kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Valle Benedetta FC's Dino Giammarino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for A.M GreenPeace 1971. If Carter Ragazzoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.M GreenPeace 1971's Ferruccio Di Gregorio got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesare Monaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Di Gregorio in the 83rd minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Ernesto Fata notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Valle Benedetta FC's Cesare Monaco. Cesare Monaco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valle Benedetta FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
