Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anthony Maldini made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Mistral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Scafati to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Ragusa came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Mistral's Corrado Gava. But to his dismay, Corrado Gava quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Mistral booed when S.Pio Bari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Piacentini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Chiappini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amos Del Grosso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernesto Limitone firmly grabbed it by the left post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mistral fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Amos Del Grosso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corrado Gava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Ragusa having to interfere. Claudio Ragusa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Scafati in the 37th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franco Scafati to strike the kick off in the second half. S.Pio Bari's Anthony Maldini got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mistral's Ernesto Limitone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Piacentini in the 69th minute of play. Amos Del Grosso struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ernesto Limitone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.Pio Bari. After some careless play in the S.Pio Bari defense, Corrado Gava kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Ragusa. The S.Pio Bari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Ragusa should have stopped the shot. Corrado Gava struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Claudio Ragusa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mistral. Ernesto Limitone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Del Grosso in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Mistral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Balestra to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Anthony Maldini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Limitone. Mistral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Maldini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Amos Del Grosso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Limitone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Del Grosso, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the game, S.Pio Bari's Amos Del Grosso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Limitone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2.
