Arrigo Giardino didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Castagnaretta's Bruno Ferreri shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Castagnaretta getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alessandro Verdini hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Davide Franceschini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ligabue's goalkeeper Arrigo Giardino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes F.C. Ligabue got a freekick which was hit by Franco Coscia. After a rather tough play, Castagnaretta's Elia Rosini got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Bruno Ferreri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrigo Giardino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Ferreri's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Davide Franceschinis short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Fulvio Iori to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Ferreri in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arrigo Giardino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The F.C. Ligabue players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castagnaretta were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Vanni made a kick off. Alessandro Olmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Giardino having to interfere. If Bruno Ferreri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Ligabue's zone, Bruno Ferreri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arrigo Giardino came out of the goal and Bruno Ferreri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Ferreri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Giardino having to interfere. With a little luck, F.C. Ligabue's Arrigo Giardino got control of the ball when Alessandro Olmi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessandro Olmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Arrigo Giardino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Ferreri got in the 93rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Arrigo Giardino handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Castagnaretta's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Reggianini came free, but Fulvio Iori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
