In the 41st minute, Damiano Guidone made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Di Luca. Celtics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Aurelio Di Luca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Abbagnale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Aurelio Abbagnale took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Aurelio Di Luca to make any attempt to save it. When Aurelio Abbagnale came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Nave fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Abbagnale couldn't finish the play. Damiano Guidone was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Nave's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Celtics's Fabrizio Moschetta got a free kick in the 87th minute. Damiano Guidone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Di Luca having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Aurelio Minichiello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celtics's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nave the free kick. The supporters of Nave booed when Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Minichiello didn't get a good kick on the ball.
