Spectators: 7841 (Terracing: 5882, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 156) Sabauda FC's Corrado Di Felice started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Sabauda FC's Alex Basso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edoardo Di Santo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Corrado Di Felice had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edoardo Di Santo. San Michele's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corrado Di Felice was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Edoardo Buccella hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Anfilogino Scutti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabauda FC's Armando Toschi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Sabauda FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 28 in the game by Frank Lorefice from a close distance when the talented Armando Toschi managed to make a qualified save. Sabauda FC's players were relieved. Edmondo Piccini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anfilogino Scutti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Toschi having to make a save. Edmondo Piccini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Armando Toschi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Angelo Caporale kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Armando Toschi made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Enrico Borgatello sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Sabauda FC defense, Fulvio Morelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Toschi. The Sabauda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Toschi should have stopped the shot. After the first half Sabauda FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmondo Piccini to make the kick off. A collision led to San Michele getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Carlo De Francesco hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sabauda FC's zone, Anfilogino Scutti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Toschi came out of the goal and Anfilogino Scutti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Toschi came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by San Michele's Frank Lorefice. But to his dismay, Frank Lorefice quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 68 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Scutti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Armando Toschi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Toschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Scutti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anfilogino Scutti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Armando Toschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Sabauda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Cara to maneuver through the defense. If Anfilogino Scutti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Toschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Piccini, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Edmondo Piccini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Armando Toschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Piccini scored 4-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Toschi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Christian Cattaneo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Pantalone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Edoardo Di Santo made a huge save. San Michele walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
