Armando Toschi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enzo Menichini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Alex Basso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabauda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calcio Bagge the free kick. A collision led to Sabauda FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alex Basso hit a great ball. When Enzo Menichini came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Calcio Bagge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Menichini couldn't finish the play. If Federico Pantalone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Enzo Menichini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Toschi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Menichini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Toschi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Angelo Caporale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Anfilogino Olmi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Toschi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andrea Lalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Toschi having to interfere. If Enzo Menichini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Menichini in the 38th minute of play forced Sabauda FC's goalkeeper Armando Toschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Anfilogino Olmi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Calcio Bagge getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ciccio Zarillo hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Enrico Volponi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Toschi skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Menichini was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Enzo Menichini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabauda FC's Armando Toschi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armando Toschi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Menichini in the 60th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Enzo Menichini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Toschi was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Andrea Lalli made a precise shot to the right of Armando Toschi. Sabauda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Menichini in the 69th minute of play forced Sabauda FC's goalkeeper Armando Toschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Farina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corrado Di Felice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sabauda FC defense, Enzo Menichini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Toschi. The Sabauda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Toschi should have stopped the shot. Armando Toschi came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Calcio Bagge's Enzo Menichini. But to his dismay, Enzo Menichini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Enzo Menichini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Armando Toschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Sabauda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Poletti came free, but Armando Toschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sabauda FC's zone, Enzo Menichini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Toschi came out of the goal and Enzo Menichini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Calcio Bagge players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
