Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alberigo Di Nino kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Valea Izei's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Lazzaro came free, but Diego Vaiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valea Izei's Ercole Gentile got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Valea Izei's goalkeeper Diego Vaiani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Rocchetti. Thanks to some nice moves Filippo Michelini could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Diego Vaiani however easily saved by the left post. Diego Vaiani made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Domenico De Bartolo sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Valea Izei's Carter Prato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Maiorano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Villamontagna FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Domenico De Bartolo hit a great ball. Dario Maiorano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Prato in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Villamontagna FC's Adriano Fontana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Adriano Fontana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Vaiani having to make a save. Domenico De Bartolo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Diego Vaiani made a huge save. Adriano Fontana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adriano Fontana was the one to do the kick off. Valea Izei's Diego Vaiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Lazzaro in the 52nd minute of play. Demetrio Caruso hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Ermanno Palleschi fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valea Izei's protests and gave Ermanno Palleschi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Villamontagna FC booed when Valea Izei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Palleschi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Villamontagna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Strano came free, but Dario Maiorano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ettore Lazzaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Villamontagna FC's zone, Alberigo Di Nino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Maiorano came out of the goal and Alberigo Di Nino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Emiliano Di Mattia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villamontagna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valea Izei the free kick. Dario Maiorano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Di Nino in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Carter Prato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valea Izei's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Prato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Maiorano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Villamontagna FC's Frank Passerini got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Carter Prato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dario Maiorano. The goal made the score 1-2. Diego Vaiani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Fontana's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Alberigo Di Nino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Maiorano having to interfere. Adriano Fontana took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Vaiani. Diego Vaiani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
