The penalty shot was made by Alessandro Rocchetti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Giaguari Reali's Elia Rosetta. 1-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Dennis Buonanno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giaguari Reali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Buonanno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ettore Lazzaro in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elia Rosetta saved Giaguari Reali from getting behind. After 24 played minutes Giaguari Reali got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Santalucia. Villamontagna FC's Dario Maiorano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Buonanno in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Giaguari Reali's Dennis Buonanno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Maiorano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 35th minute, Filippo Michelini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elia Rosetta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Villamontagna FC's Frank Passerini got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Giaguari Reali's zone, Filippo Michelini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Rosetta came out of the goal and Filippo Michelini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Di Mattia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Elia Rosetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Villamontagna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Buonanno came free, but Dario Maiorano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Villamontagna FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Emiliano Di Mattia hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filippo Michelini to strike the kick off in the second half. Elia Rosetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Michelini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giaguari Reali's Elia Rosetta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Michelini in the 56th minute of play. Elia Rosetta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Fontana's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Filippo Michelini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Rosetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elia Rosetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo Michelini, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Filippo Michelini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Giaguari Reali got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Cipolla. Emiliano Di Mattia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Elia Rosetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Villamontagna FC's goalkeeper Dario Maiorano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Buonanno. Adriano Fontana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Rosetta having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Villamontagna FC got a freekick which was hit by Davide Mazzone. Filippo Michelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Elia Rosetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filippo Michelini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Rosetta having to interfere. If Filippo Michelini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elia Rosetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Michelini in the 97th minute of the match. Villamontagna FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
