Alberigo Cipriani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Giannetta having to interfere. Edoardo Giannetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Rulli, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ercole Cianci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Corrado Taranto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dave Colantoni scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corrado Taranto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberigo Cipriani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Edoardo Giannetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amedeo Moretti hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberigo Cipriani was the one to do the kick off. If Emanuele Caiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercole Cianci struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Corrado Taranto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for US Colline Livorno. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ercole Cianci managed to get in a good position for a shot. US Colline Livorno's supporters rose to their feet, but Ercole Cianci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Taranto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armin Pugliese kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Ercole Cianci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Flavio Rulli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LaMafiaDellArdo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave US Colline Livorno the free kick. After 88 minutes of play, US Colline Livorno's Dave Colantoni made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corrado Taranto was left in no man's land by his defense there! US Colline Livorno's Edoardo Giannetta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Cipriani in the 93rd minute of play.
