Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Eraldo Albertosi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Fantauzzi during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthony Pelati got free with Cristiano Aversano in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute Cristiano Talamo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Tondi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Pelati could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Cristiano Aversano made a huge save. Fabio Tondi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Talamo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes in the game, Eraldo Albertosi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cristiano Aversano having to interfere. Eraldo Albertosi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cristiano Aversano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Eraldo Albertosi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristiano Aversano, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Albertosi in the 39th minute of play forced San Donato's goalkeeper Cristiano Aversano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eraldo Albertosi took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Aversano. Cristiano Aversano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cristiano Talamo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience was convinced that Daniele De Vecchis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Tondi was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 53 minutes of play, San Donato's Cristiano Talamo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Tondi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute Eraldo Albertosi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Aversano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, CG Studenti's goalkeeper Fabio Tondi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Talamo. Daniele De Vecchis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CG Studenti's Fabio Tondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele De Vecchis in the 64th minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Daniele De Vecchis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CG Studenti's Fabio Tondi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, CG Studenti's goalkeeper Fabio Tondi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Talamo. CG Studenti's Fabio Tondi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save CG Studenti from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CG Studenti's Beppe Brandolini got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Cristiano Talamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Daniele De Vecchis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
