But to his dismay, Ercole Cianci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 10 minutes into the match, Friulkatané's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Colantoni came free, but Dino Lepori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of US Colline Livorno booed when Friulkatané was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Biagetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Lepori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Cianci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Ercole Cianci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Lepori. Friulkatané's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ercole Cianci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Dino Lepori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Friulkatané's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Mercuri came free, but Dino Lepori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half US Colline Livorno were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixtus Flory was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Dave Colantoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. US Colline Livorno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Colantoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Graziano got free with Dino Lepori in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th match minute, Friulkatané was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Di Florio to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Dave Colantoni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The US Colline Livorno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. A collision led to US Colline Livorno getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cosimo Graziano hit a great ball. Edoardo Giannetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixtus Flory in the 63rd minute of play. Friulkatané's Dino Lepori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Friulkatané from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, US Colline Livorno's Emanuele Caiola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dino Lepori. Dino Lepori yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. US Colline Livorno's Arrigo Addario was substituted for Cosimo Graziano. A hard shot 88 in the game by Ercole Cianci from a close distance when the talented Dino Lepori managed to make a qualified save. Friulkatané's players were relieved. In the 94th minute Sixtus Flory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Giannetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Friulkatané fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. US Colline Livorno were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
