Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carmine De Nicola kicked off to start the match. Amerigo Baur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Pani having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Amerigo Baur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Pani. Quei Braavos Malefici's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amerigo Baur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Amerigo Baur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Francesco Pani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Achille Mazzone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francesco Pani came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Varsity Blues Velletri's Achille Mazzone. But to his dismay, Achille Mazzone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Varsity Blues Velletri's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine De Nicola came free, but Angelo De Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achille Mazzone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Quei Braavos Malefici's zone, Achille Mazzone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Pani came out of the goal and Achille Mazzone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Achille Mazzone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Francesco Pani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Varsity Blues Velletri were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Amerigo Baur made the kick off in the second half. If Dino Minichiello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine De Nicola struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Angelo De Palma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quei Braavos Malefici. After having played for 63 minutes, Carmine De Nicola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quei Braavos Malefici's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmine De Nicola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Quei Braavos Malefici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine De Nicola to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Mancini charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Mancini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Alexander Mancini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Raniolo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo De Palma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demetrio Raniolo ran back to his position shaking his head. Francesco Pani was a little too slow when Achille Mazzone got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-5. Amerigo Baur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Pani having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Varsity Blues Velletri eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
