He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Operário Sangérsolense reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Baur in the 7th minute of play forced Operário Sangérsolense's goalkeeper Damiano Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amerigo Baur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Damiano Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Operário Sangérsolense getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ferruccio Biagetti hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo Bellone in the 21st minute of play forced Varsity Blues Velletri's goalkeeper Angelo De Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Operário Sangérsolense's Cristoforo Bellone in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Ferruccio Biagetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristoforo Bellone to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelo De Palma didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Operário Sangérsolense's Cristoforo Bellone shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Cristoforo Bellone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo De Palma having to interfere. Angelo De Palma acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ciccio Giancristofaro. After a rather tough play, Varsity Blues Velletri's Alexander Mancini got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cristoforo Bellone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Operário Sangérsolense's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristoforo Bellone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo De Palma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Varsity Blues Velletri's Angelo De Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Bellone in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Ferruccio Biagetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Operário Sangérsolense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Biagetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo De Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Bellone in the 77th minute of play. If Achille Mazzone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amerigo Baur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Operário Sangérsolense's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Mazzone came free, but Damiano Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Varsity Blues Velletri got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Mancini. The Operário Sangérsolense supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Operário Sangérsolense would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
