Alberigo Colaussi spun around in front of the goal 9 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pesciroppo's goal. Bianco Colaussi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Pesciroppo's Anselmo Cappucci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Concetto Villa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Pesciroppo booed when Ronco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Allemandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Pesciroppo's Andrea Celli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Concetto Villa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Anselmo Cappucci notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ronco AFC's Concetto Villa. Concetto Villa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Pesciroppo fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Pesciroppo's Anselmo Cappucci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 44 minutes, Bianco Colaussi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pesciroppo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bianco Colaussi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 49th minute of the match, Ermanno Pelati tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Corrado Scatena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half Pesciroppo were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberigo Colaussi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Pesciroppo got a freekick which was hit by Franco Persia. 56 minutes into the game, Florian Catapano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ronco AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pesciroppo the free kick. Anselmo Cappucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Villa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pesciroppo's Comunardo Fava got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Anselmo Cappucci succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Corrado Scatena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Rossini, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Anselmo Cappucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Concetto Villa made a huge save. Corrado Scatena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Catapano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes, Anselmo Cappucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pesciroppo and the Ronco AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Pesciroppo got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Cappucci. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Colaussi in the 90th minute of play forced Pesciroppo's goalkeeper Corrado Scatena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Guida lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Pesciroppo's Cesare Guida got a free kick in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Ronco AFC's Ferdinando Sabatino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corrado Scatena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pesciroppo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
