Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) Fabiano Miconi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Miconi in the 3rd minute of play forced FC New Team's goalkeeper Cosimo Tonon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Cornocchio's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Di Vito came free, but Edmondo Petrocchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Antonio Colangelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cornocchio's Edmondo Petrocchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Antonio Colangelo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FC New Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Colangelo couldn't finish the play. FC New Team's Cosimo Tonon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Miconi in the 14th minute of play. Edmondo Petrocchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Colangelo's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Edmondo Petrocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Di Vito in the 21st minute of the match. If Antonio Colangelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Bravo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmondo Petrocchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Cornocchio's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Bravo came free, but Edmondo Petrocchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Di Vito charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Di Vito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvise Bravo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmondo Petrocchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Teodori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornocchio's Edmondo Petrocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Bravo in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Colangelo made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Alvise Bravo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC New Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Bravo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Claudio Teodori took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Edmondo Petrocchi to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 61 minutes, Claudio Teodori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC New Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Teodori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosimo Tonon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Miconi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Edmondo Petrocchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Colangelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC New Team booed when Cornocchio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Baggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Attilio Piscitelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cornocchio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC New Team the free kick. A collision led to Cornocchio getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Attilio Piscitelli hit a great ball. Edmondo Petrocchi came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by FC New Team's Alvise Bravo. But to his dismay, Alvise Bravo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Armando Di Vito was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Antonio Colangelo took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Edmondo Petrocchi to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Cornocchio's zone, Antonio Colangelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmondo Petrocchi came out of the goal and Antonio Colangelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
