In the 5th minute, Adriano Scrima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Spadolini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 played minutes, FC Spadolini's Antonello Orsi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Berardinelli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Spadolini reached it. 13 minutes into the game, Adriano Scrima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Spadolini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porcareccia F.C. the free kick. In the 13th match minute, FC Spadolini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Scrima to maneuver through the defense. Alex Berardinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Cicchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Cristoforo Contestabile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armin Trevisani's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Comunardo Nasuti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porcareccia F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Comunardo Nasuti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Porcareccia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Gigli to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Spadolini's Adriano Scrima got a free kick in the 25th minute. Armin Trevisani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cristoforo Contestabile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armin Trevisani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Porcareccia F.C. booed when FC Spadolini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Falcone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Berardinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Scrima in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Porcareccia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Cicchetti came free, but Alex Berardinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Adriano Scrima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Berardinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Fausto Improta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alex Berardinelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fausto Improta made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Sabatini in the 51st minute of play forced FC Spadolini's goalkeeper Cristoforo Contestabile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Ennio Falcone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Alex Berardinelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute, FC Spadolini's Ennio Falcone ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Berardinelli. Alex Berardinelli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armin Trevisani in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristoforo Contestabile saved FC Spadolini from getting behind. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Armin Trevisani sped through FC Spadolini's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristoforo Contestabile. Andrea Di Vincenzo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Augusto Imperiale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristoforo Contestabile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armin Trevisani's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Porcareccia F.C.'s Andrea Liaci got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Improta in the 85th minute of play forced Porcareccia F.C.'s goalkeeper Alex Berardinelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, FC Spadolini's Adriano Scrima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Berardinelli. Alex Berardinelli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. After 95 minutes, Armin Trevisani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porcareccia F.C. and the FC Spadolini players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Armin Trevisani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Alex Berardinelli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
