The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinando Berardi was the one to do the kick off. When Bianco Placidi came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the A.C. C U R E fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bianco Placidi couldn't finish the play. Bianco Placidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Castellini having to interfere. Ennio Castellini came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. C U R E's Fulvio Cavanna. But to his dismay, Fulvio Cavanna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Bianco Placidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Fulvio Cavanna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. C U R E's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulvio Cavanna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Real Val Cartiera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Di Massa to maneuver through the defense. Domenico Capuozzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.C. C U R E's Federico Dominici got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ennio Castellini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Placidi in the 75th minute of play. Ferdinando Berardi's late challenge caught a A.C. C U R E's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinando Berardi helped the player get up and apologised.
