Rastignano AFC's Bruno Mazzetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Colangelo in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Rastignano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Rocchetti. 23 minutes into the match, Rastignano AFC's goalkeeper Bruno Mazzetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvise Bravo. The supporters of FC New Team booed when Rastignano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Fortunato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fedele Moretti lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Domenico Boldrini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Rastignano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Teodori came free, but Bruno Mazzetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Mazzetti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Teodori went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Cosimo Tonon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Cantagallo in the 45th minute of the match. Cosimo Tonon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Cantagallo in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristoforo Gregori made a kick off. Enzo Berti hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Cosimo Tonon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Di Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Franco Di Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Colangelo in the 73rd minute of play forced Rastignano AFC's goalkeeper Bruno Mazzetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Florian Cantagallo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Cosimo Tonon to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Rastignano AFC's Enzo Rocchetti got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 85th match minute, FC New Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Di Vito to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Colangelo struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bruno Mazzetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC New Team. Claudio Teodori took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Mazzetti. Bruno Mazzetti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. FC New Team's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
