Comunardo Sarnelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Biagio Iori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Donato Di Girolamo in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristiano Melfi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 15 played minutes Shock Team got a freekick which was hit by Dino Di Vito. In the 20th minute, Damiano Piccioli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Biagio Iori was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Comunardo Sarnelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Virgin Lover's Donato Di Girolamo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Melfi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Comunardo Sarnelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Biagio Iori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmine Soccio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Melfi having to interfere. If Carmine Soccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carmine Soccio came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Virgin Lover fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Soccio couldn't finish the play. After the first half Shock Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Damiano Piccioli made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Virgin Lover getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Comunardo Di Mascio hit a great ball. Comunardo Sarnelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgin Lover's Biagio Iori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Virgin Lover from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Andrea Daniele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shock Team's Cristiano Melfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Soccio in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Damiano Piccioli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shock Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damiano Piccioli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Comunardo Sarnelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comunardo Sarnelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Comunardo Di Mascio's late challenge caught a Shock Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comunardo Di Mascio helped the player get up and apologised. Comunardo Di Mascio kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Damiano Piccioli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Biagio Iori came out and tried to block the shot, but Damiano Piccioli slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 75th minute. Carmine Soccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Carmine Soccio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cristiano Melfi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carmine Soccio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Melfi having to interfere. The Virgin Lover fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Shock Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
