But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Marconi couldn't finish the play. After 14 minutes, Ennio Ingegno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezia and the Manjamester United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezia's Ennio Ingegno got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ferruccio Marconi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Manjamester United booed when Venezia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Sciarretta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferruccio Marconi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beppe Chiarelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferruccio Marconi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. A hard shot 26 in the game by Ferruccio Marconi from a close distance when the talented Beppe Chiarelli managed to make a qualified save. Venezia's players were relieved. After 28 minutes, Ferruccio Marconi made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezia's Beppe Chiarelli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Anthony Casale fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manjamester United's protests and gave Anthony Casale a yellow card for diving instead. Ferruccio Marconi took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Chiarelli. Beppe Chiarelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 39 played minutes Venezia got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Sciarretta. Ferruccio Marconi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Ennio Ingegno made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ferruccio Marconi put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Beppe Chiarelli. After 58 minutes, Biagio Madaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezia and the Manjamester United players grew even worse after the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manjamester United reached it. Manjamester United's Alex Molinaro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anthony Sciarretta, made in the 60th minute of the game. Ferruccio Marconi might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beppe Chiarelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferruccio Marconi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute Ferruccio Marconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Chiarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Ferruccio Marconi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ennio Ingegno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Wakashimazu having to interfere. Carter Ruscitti kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A long shot from Ennio Caniglia in the 71st minute of play was well struck, but Ken Wakashimazu made a really good save at the right post. Beppe Chiarelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferruccio Marconi went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 76th match minute, Manjamester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Casale to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Manjamester United booed when Venezia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Madaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezia's zone, Ferruccio Marconi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Chiarelli came out of the goal and Ferruccio Marconi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Anthony Sciarretta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manjamester United had played much better football throughout.
