In the 13th minute, Anthony Palmucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Claudio Di Silvio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofan Madev was a little too slow when Alvaro Cinque got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. With 30 minutes on the clock, Fedele Di Domenico commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Audace Sanvito Empolitana fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Teofan Madev had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Emanuele Biondi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dave Silveri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Tocci having to interfere. Dave Silveri scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florian Tocci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute Alvaro Cinque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofan Madev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Cinque made a kick off. Teofan Madev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Tondi in the 57th minute of the match. Teofan Madev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Cinque, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Alvaro Cinque notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Audace Sanvito Empolitana's Teofan Madev. Teofan Madev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ermanno Ferraris charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermanno Ferraris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
