An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sacchi in the 90th minute of play forced Real Piazza 1982's goalkeeper Alfredo Mariotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Dietbald Munderloh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
